Türkiye’s Mobile KORKUT 35mm Air Defense System Takes Down Drone in Field Trials

🛡️ Türkiye has successfully demonstrated the operational capabilities of ASELSAN’s mobile KORKUT 140/35 self-propelled air defense system during dynamic field tests, where the system effectively detected, tracked, and neutralized an aerial drone target. Designed to counter low-altitude threats such as UAVs, helicopters, and cruise missiles, KORKUT combines rapid-firing 35 mm cannons with advanced radar, electro-optical sensors, and fire control systems, providing short-range air defense protection for maneuvering ground forces.
