Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Paul Hamilton visits Singapore

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) arrived in Singapore for a scheduled port visit Feb. 18, the U.S. Navy shared on official website.

During the port visit, Paul Hamilton crew will have opportunities to experience the local culture through events which include cultural tours and museum visits. Additionally, the crew is planned to participate in community service projects for various organizations in the area.

“This port visit is a fantastic opportunity for our Sailors,” said Cmdr. Mark W. Lawrence, commanding officer of Paul Hamilton. “Singapore is rich in history, and I am excited for the Phantom Warriors to have the opportunity to learn more about it.”

Paul Hamilton, part of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group, is forward-deployed to the Indo-Pacific conducting maritime security operations to enhance partnerships and contribute to stability in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
