BAE Systems to support US Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier fleet to 2029 1′ Defense Breaking News

BAE Systems and Vertex Aerospace have signed a nine-year agreement to enhance the availability of the U.S. Marine Corps’ AV-8B Harrier II fleet. The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) AV-8B Harrier II is a single-engine ground-attack aircraft that constitutes the second generation of the Harrier Jump Jet family. Capable of vertical or short takeoff and landing (V/STOL).
