During the military parade for the 60 years of Algeria’s independence that was held on June 5, 2022, the Algerian army showcased their recent military acquisitions including the S-300 PMU2 air defense missile system but based on the BAZ-6402-01 6×6 truck which towed a trailer with four ready-to-launch missile containers. The Russian version of the S-300 PMU2 is based on the MAZ-7910 8×8 truck chassis.
