At DSEI 2025 in London, Army Recognition interviewed Roman Shimonov, CEO of Canadian company Roshel, about the Senator armoured vehicle family. Roshel presented Senator Pickup with Counter-UAS systems, the Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV), and the Captain APC.
The Senator Pickup is based on a Ford F-series chassis and certified to NATO STANAG 4569 standards. It combines modularity, cost efficiency, and high protection levels. Its Counter-UAS capability provides detection, tracking, and neutralization of uncrewed aerial systems, ensuring adaptability to drone threats on the battlefield.
Roshel also highlighted its modular design philosophy, shaped by lessons from the war in Ukraine. Each component of the Senator can be adapted to new threats while maintaining a balance between weight and protection.
With the Senator family (MRAP, Pickup, APC, ERV, EOD) and the Captain APC, Roshel offers a wide range of vehicles for defense and security forces worldwide.
