At UMEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi, Guardiaris presented two defence-focused solutions addressing training and tactical effects: the Small Arms Mobile Trainer (SAMT) and the Battlefield Anti-Aircraft Non-kinetic System (BANS) developed through Carboteh. SAMT is a mobile immersive training system based on patented laserless technology, combining a modular LED wall, vibration and sound feedback, and performance data collection through After-Action Review (AAR).
Guardiaris also showcased BANS, a VSHORAD non-kinetic shoulder-fired device designed to digitally simulate a missile launch pattern and trigger aircraft warning systems, prompting the release of countermeasures such as infrared flares.
Army Recognition interviewed Guardiaris teams on site at UMEX 2026 to discuss the company’s approach to simulation, training mobility, and the operational rationale behind these systems. The full interview is available at the end of the article.
