Malta and Netherlands’ naval assets conduct manoeuvres at sea

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) and the Royal Netherlands Navy conducted manoeuvres at sea between the 7 and 8 February 2020 in order to enhance the collaboration and strengthen the good relationship between the two Forces.

The AFM’s Maritime and Air Assets performed various drills and scenarios at sea, training of which was coordinated by the AFM’s Training Branch.

The military vessels involved were the Dutch Frigate HNLMS De Ruyter and the Maltese AFM P62. The aerial assets involved were the Dutch NH90 and the Maltese AW139 assisted by the Beechcraft King Air Be200.
