Qatar conducts military exercise with Patriot PAC-3 MSE and PAC-2 air defense missile system

Qatar armed forces have conducted a military exercise involving Patriot PAC-3 MSE and PCA-2 air defense missile systems. In December 2017, it was announced that Lockheed Martin was awarded a $945 million modification contract to produce 24 Patriot PAC-3 MSE for Qatar. The PAC-3 MSE expands the lethal battlespace with a two-pulse solid rocket motor, providing increased performance in altitude and range.
