The FN Herstal SCAR-H PR (Precision Rifle) is based on the SCAR family but designed to be used as a marksman or precision rifle. It is chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 and is available with two barrel length, 16" or 20". It features a buttstock that is adjustable for length of pull (LOP) and cheek rest height to allow the stock to be adjusted to fit the gear of the operator.
The SCAR-H TPR (Tactical Precision Rifle) is similar to the SCAR-H PR but fitted with a new buttstock. A choice of buttstock options allow the rifle to be adapted to the user’s needs: a foldable buttstock (FN SCAR-H PR model) or fixed sniper-type buttstock (FN SCAR-H TPR model).
