SOFINS 2025: French Special Forces Highlight Full-Spectrum Capabilities During Live Demonstration

April 3, 2025 – On the final day of the SOFINS exhibition, French Special Forces conducted a large-scale live demonstration at the Souge military camp near Bordeaux.
In a realistic scenario involving infiltration, neutralization, and exfiltration, the units deployed a wide array of assets: Caracal EC725 and Cougar AS532 helicopters for troop insertion and extraction, Tigre and Gazelle helicopters for close air support, FPV loitering munitions and airborne drone platforms, Masstech T6 armored vehicles for casualty evacuation, M-RZR vehicles for sniper deployment, a Rafale fighter jet for precision strike, and an A400M Atlas for tactical airlift support.
