Türkiye Activates SİPER-1 in New Steel Dome Air Defense Shield

🛡️ Türkiye has officially integrated the domestically developed SİPER-1 long-range air defense system into its national "Steel Dome" layered air defense network. Co-developed by Roketsan, Aselsan, and TÜBİTAK SAGE, the SİPER-1 is designed to intercept a wide range of aerial threats, including cruise missiles, aircraft, and UAVs, with an operational range exceeding 100 kilometers. This marks a significant leap in Türkiye’s indigenous air defense capabilities and strategic autonomy.
