Army Recognition editorial had the chance to make an exclusive video report about the German company Rheinmetall’s production line of armored cabins. Rheinmetall produces armored cabins designed to be mounted on HX series military trucks. Today, logistic vehicles of armed forces are also targets of terrorist groups and offer poor protection against ballistic and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) threats. With an armored cabin, standard military trucks can be deployed in high-risk combat areas offering a high level of ballistic and mine protection for the crew.
