HİSAR-O Live Fire Test: Türkiye Unleashes New Air Defense Missile Power in Spectacular Launch

Footage released on October 22, 2025, captures the successful live-fire test of Turkey’s HİSAR-O medium-range air defense system. Developed by Roketsan and Aselsan, the system demonstrated its operational capability by intercepting an aerial target at high altitude. Designed for engagement ranges beyond 25 km and altitudes exceeding 15 km, HİSAR-O is equipped with an RF seeker, inertial navigation, and data-link guided midcourse capability. It is intended to neutralize threats, including aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, cruise missiles, and air-to-ground munitions. The test marks a key step in integrating the HİSAR-O into Turkey’s national layered air defense network.
