Türkiye’s KILIÇ 10 and 200 Redefine Naval Drone Warfare

0

SAHA 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, highlights the unveiling of ASELSAN’s new KILIÇ family of unmanned naval strike systems, including the lightweight KILIÇ 10 and the larger KILIÇ 200, designed for autonomous maritime attack and asymmetric naval warfare missions.

Developed by ASELSAN, the new systems combine autonomous navigation, stealth characteristics, swarm capability, and precision strike functions against both surface and underwater targets in contested maritime environments.

The compact KILIÇ 10 is optimized for covert naval operations and can be deployed by a single operator. Equipped with thermal imaging, acoustic communications, and low-signature propulsion, the autonomous underwater vehicle is designed for stealth attacks against enemy naval assets and coastal targets.

The larger KILIÇ 200 expands operational reach with increased payload and extended range, enabling strikes against ports, subsea infrastructure, and critical maritime installations. ASELSAN also introduced TUFAN, a kamikaze unmanned surface vessel developed for high-speed autonomous attacks, reconnaissance missions, and swarm operations.

These new systems reflect Türkiye’s growing emphasis on distributed and network-centric naval warfare, where autonomous maritime systems play a central role in sea denial, coastal defense, and protection of strategic maritime interests under the Blue Homeland doctrine.
