During rehearsals for France’s July 14 Bastille Day military parade in Paris, Army Recognition had the opportunity to speak with French Army personnel about the operational use of unmanned aerial systems in support of modern land forces.
The interview focuses on the growing importance of drones for intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition, highlighting how these capabilities contribute to battlefield awareness and support decision-making at the tactical level.
French Army personnel also present the DELAIR DT46 and DT61 unmanned aerial systems, explaining their respective roles, capabilities and contribution to intelligence collection and operational support. These platforms illustrate the increasing integration of advanced drone technologies within the French Armed Forces and their importance in contemporary military operations.
