At DEFEA 2025 in Athens, Army Recognition interviewed Philippe Mennicken, Business Development Director at THEON SENSORS. He introduces three key technologies from the A.R.M.E.D. ecosystem:
IRIS-C, a thermal clip-on that adds thermal imagery to night vision systems without disrupting optical calibration,
THERMIS, a multi-range thermal sight with uncooled IR sensors for sniper rifles and machine guns,
THEA, a transparent head-up display projecting tactical data directly in the soldier’s view.
These solutions are fully interoperable with battle management systems such as ATAK and are designed to improve awareness, coordination, and mission execution.
