0

SAHA 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, highlights the debut of the ATTILA 155 mm truck-mounted howitzer developed by MKE, designed to deliver rapid fire support, high mobility, and fast battlefield deployment for modern artillery operations.

The ATTILA combines a 52-caliber 155 mm gun with a 6×6 tactical wheeled chassis, enabling shoot-and-scoot capability, rapid repositioning, and long-range fire missions in complex combat environments. The system is capable of firing six rounds per minute while carrying 38 artillery shells and additional illumination and smoke rounds.

Equipped with a semi-automatic loading system and an integrated electronic fire-control suite, ATTILA is optimized for faster engagement cycles and improved targeting precision, increasing artillery survivability against counter-battery threats.

With a maximum road speed of 85 km/h and an operational range of 850 kilometers, the ATTILA self-propelled howitzer is designed to support highly mobile forces across extended operational theaters while maintaining sustained firepower under demanding battlefield conditions.

SAHA 2026 reflects the growing demand for mobile artillery systems capable of combining strategic mobility, rapid deployment, and precision fire support as armies adapt to high-intensity and multi-domain warfare requirements.
