FNSS Unveils U-MAV Multi-Purpose Modular Unmanned Amphibious Vehicle

0

🎥 Türkiye’s FNSS has unveiled the U-MAV (İ-ZAHA), a new unmanned amphibious vehicle designed to support and protect assault forces during contested beach landings.

🌊 Developed to operate ahead of manned amphibious vehicles, U-MAV can perform high-risk missions such as reconnaissance, mine clearance, combat engineering, electronic warfare, counter-drone operations, and fire support.

🛡️ Its modular design allows different mission configurations, while remote and autonomous operation could reduce the exposure of Marines to mines, obstacles, enemy fire, and drones during the critical first phase of a landing.

⚓ The U-MAV highlights Türkiye’s move toward integrating unmanned systems into amphibious warfare, potentially allowing robotic vehicles to help secure the beach before manned forces move ashore.
